Kerry’s exhibition opens at the Island

A beautiful painting of poppies was recently donated to the Maternity Unit in the Ulster Hospital by Lisburn artist, Kerry Miles.

While she was a patient in the maternity unit for over five weeks, Kerry completed a number of pieces and now a collection of her work can be seen at an exhibition in Island Arts Centre. Kerry expressed her gratitude to the midwives at The Ulster Hospital who made her feel at home and went out of their way to make sure she was in a suitable environment to complete her paintings.

Kerry’s exhibition is open until November 22 in Gallery 2 of the Island Arts Centre.
