On Saturday, June 11, nine representatives from the local BB company travelled to London for the annual event, which this year had added importance as the Queen marked her special milestone.

With help from PKF-FPM Accountants and WPA Healthcare Practice, the group left Belfast at 4am to catch a flight to London City. After being greeted by the MET Police, they headed to the youth enclosure, where they enjoyed an excellent view of the parade and later walked up The Mall to the front of Buckingham Palace. 1st Kilbride BB Captain, Dave Hoy said: “It was great to be in attendance at the Trooping of the Colour. To be there for the Queen’s 90th birthday and to be representing not only Kilbride, but East Antrim made it special.”
