Kilbride Cyclists get on their bikes to help missionaries

ON SATURDAY, May 8, Kilbride Cyclists set off on their annual charity ride.

Around 90 riders from all over Ulster turned out to show their support for the club and raise much needed funds to help Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI) missionaries in Kenya. The money raised will help fit a solar water pump system for the local community there.

With the sun shining, everyone was in good spirits and set off from Junction One at Antrim heading out towards Parkgate, Ballybracken, Broughshane with a water stop at the Sheddings, then over the mountains to Glenarm for a well earned soup lunch.

Kilbride Cyclists wish to thank everyone who turned up to made the event so sucessful, as well as all the members of Kilbride Presbyterian Church who lent a hand on the day.

Thanks also to sponsors Holestone Toys, JL Grant and Co, Nick Bonar Cars and RL Landscapes.

Anyone still wishing to make a donation meanwhile, can do so through the website. www.kilbridecyclists.co.uk
