Good weather encouraged some to take a stroll following the mill race through the beautiful glen alongside the Ballinderry River. Inside the mill, along with practical demonstrations of scutching, hackling, weaving and the thundering cacophony of the 19th century beetling engines in action, the group learned of the origins and importance of the bygone Irish Linen industry.

A busy day concluded with an evening meal provided by the catering team of Derryloran Parish Church.
