Killultagh WI holds its charity evening

Killultagh WI PresidenElizabeth Halliday welcomed everyone to the charity evening in aid of Motor Neuron Disease and ACWW funds.

And she gave a very special mention to the group’s friend and auctioneer Rodney Clarke.

Sympathy was extended to Sheila Maguire on the death of her brother.

Betty and Albert Shirlow were congratulated on their 50th wedding anniversary.

The birthday girl was Sylvia Close and the Easter bonnet competition winners were Sheila Maguire, Wilmas Dougherty and elizabeth Halliday.

Elizabeth thanked Rodney for his charisma in making the evening so enjoyable and successful for everyone who attended.

A lovely supper was then served by Betty, Ida and Wilma.

After the supper the Countrywoman’s Song was sung and the president wished all the members and guests a safe journey home.
