Knockagh memorial stone repaired after vandalism attack

The memorial stone at Knockagh Monument in Greenisland has now been repaired, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has confirmed.

The plaque at the war memorial was vandalised a fortnight ago.

The incident was condemned as an “insult to the war dead and to County Antrim”.
