Ladies in league and cup action

IT was all action when Armsford played host to Dunmurry Rec in the semi final of the Conway Cup in the Hertford Arms Ladies Dart League this week.

In a close encounter, it was Dunmurry Rec who booked their place in the final with a narrow 5-4 win in a thrilling match.

Securing their place in the final for Rec were H. McQuaid, P. Clarke, R. McQuaid, W. Flanagan and H. McQuaid / J. Friars.

Going close for Armsford were H. Hooks, G. Woods (128), M. Gore / T. Taylor and I. and R. Lyons.

ARMSFORD took the spoils when they played host to Dunmurry Rec in the league this week, as they defeated Dunmurry Rec 5-3

As the two sides met once again following the cup match, it was Armsford who came out on top with wins from V. Lyons, G. Woods, R. Lyons (105), T. Taylor and H. Hooks / G. Woods.

Replying for Dunmurry Rec were P. Clarke, H. McQuaid and P. Clarke / A. Porter.

McCRUMS 4 PIGEON CLUB 4

HONOURS were even when McCrums met Pigeon Club in the league this week.

The two sides shared the spoils in a four-all draw, in what proved to be an action packed encounter.

Hitting the target for McCrums were W. Lockhart (101), A. Beggs, P. Wood and S. Johnston and P. Wood.

Earning a share of the spoils for the visitors Pigeon Club were J. Briggs, R. McDonnell, B. McKibben and C. Bushe / A. English.
