Lagan path walk

SWAPPING their glamorous heels for walking shoes, Alison Clarke, Miss NI Tiffany Brien and Claire McCollum launch the 2013 Hospice Walks for Northern Ireland Hospice.

The charity ambassadors are encouraging everyone in South Belfast and Lisburn to step up and support the local charity by making miles of difference to the lives of terminally-ill people and their families. The Hospice Walks offer ten stunning walks at different locations across Northern Ireland, one of which is a three and eight mile walk along the Lagan Tow Path, taking place on Saturday April 13 at 10am.

Launching the event, Miss Northern Ireland Tiffany Brien offered her support for the annual sponsored walk saying,

“Walking is such a fun exercise, you can get your family and friends together and choose a walk and distance that suits you. It is not a race so it can be taken at your own pace, and every step really does count for those in need of hospice care.”
