Lagan Valley MLAs pledge support for People’s NHSni

Peoples NHSni has thanked local MLAs for their support in its campaign to have the NHS taken out of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.

Lagan Valley MLAs Trevor Lunn, Basil McCrea, Brenda Hale and Paul Givan signed a petition last week pledging support for the campaign and asking the Westminster Government to protect the NHS.

“There are widespread concerns about the likely adverse implications of the Trans-Atlantic Trade & Investment Partnership for the National Health Service; that’s why we asked our assembly members to support our campaign aims,” said spokesperson, the Rev Chris Hudson.
