Lamont staff are used to being in high places, having cleaned windows on some of Belfast’s tallest buildings, including the Hilton Belfast hotel.

Owner Michael Lamont, from Lisburn told the Star that he decided to raise money for homeless people after meeting a man who was homeless whilst on a trip.

He said: “On a trip to Manchester this year I met a homeless man after a long chat he made me realise how easily any of us could end up homeless.

“Steve was his name & he had lost all of his family then his job and home all in a very short space of time. I then thought I’d like to try to do something for homeless people.”
