Larne council offices to ‘Light It Up Blue’
Larne Borough Council is set to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day later this year by taking part in Autism NI’s ‘Light It Up Blue’ campaign.
The scheme sees many iconic landmarks throughout the UK and the rest of the world lit up in blue to raise awareness of autism.
And the local authority has once again agreed to illuminate Smiley Buildings on Victoria Road on Wednesday, April 2, in recognition of the global initiative.
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to, other people.
