Larne Council’s loyal address to the Queen
LARNE Borough Council is to send a loyal address to the Queen in recognition of the diamond anniversary of her accession to the throne.
A resolution proposed by Ulster Unionist alderman Roy Beggs, seconded by DUP councillor Bobby McKee, thanks “Her Majesty for 60 years of dedicated and exemplary service to the peoples of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth and sends warmest thanks and best wishes to His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh for his support of Her Majesty throughout her reign”.
