Larne death ‘suspicious’ say police
Police have arrested a 44-year-old man in Larne following the suspicious death of a man in the town at the weekend.
The body of 44-year-old John Hendrick Alderliesten was discovered on Saturday at his home in Bellair Park and the death was initially treated as non-suspicious.
However, according to a statement made by police, following the results of a post mortem examination and other information being provided to police, they are now treating the death as suspicious.
A 44-year-old man was arrested in the town late last on Tuesday night and is being questioned at the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim police station.
