Larne District LOL No.1 wishes Queen happy 90th birthday

Larne District Loyal Orange Lodge No.1 has written to the Queen to congratulate her on reaching her 90th birthday.

The letter, penned by District Secretary Mark McKinty, stated: “We are pleased to join fellow citizens of the United Kingdom in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales – together with the peoples of other countries – to celebrate over the coming months your continued health, and pray God may grant you many more years as our beloved Queen.

“Throughout more than 64 years on the throne, and in your 90 fruitful years, the world has changed significantly.

“We are comforted, however, by Your Majesty’s steadfast faith and Christian example to all, ever-faithful in the service of God.

“May I take this opportunity to wish God’s continued blessing on Your Majesty, Prince Philip and the rest of the Royal Family, and upon our nation.”
