Larne is Asda’s top performing NI store

the Asda store at Redlands has been crowned top performer out of all the retail giant’s branches in Northern Ireland.

This week’s announcement also brings an extra reason to celebrate for colleagues at the Larne store as they will soon be receiving a ‘superbonus’ from the retailer as a reward for their hard work and dedication throughout the past year.

Along with their colleagues at Asda’s 16 stores across Northern Ireland, the Larne employees will share in a bonus payout of £720,000 as the supermarket celebrates a successful year, despite tough economic conditions.

The payout will see full time colleagues receiving a bonus of up to £350, depending on each store’s individual performance. Colleagues at Asda’s Larne and Bangor stores have exceeded their annual targets and as such will be rewarded with a ‘superbonus’ of up to £437; with the Larne outlet leading the way as the top-performing store in Northern Ireland.

Steven Henry, general store manager for Asda Larne, said: “Our store colleagues are the real heroes of our business and I’m delighted that we are able to reward their efforts in this way.

“Whether it’s been through ‘go getting’ in our stores, helping our customers use the Asda Price Guarantee or making sure our deliveries are on time, every time – they have done an amazing job for our customers day in day out and I am incredibly grateful to them for their efforts.”
