As a surprise on the day of the competition, the two teams found out that they would be managed byformer internationals Gerry Taggart and Keith Gillespie.

And it was Team Taggart who edged the game 4-3 on the day.

The 109-year-old Windsor Park ground is scheduled to undergo extensive work this year.

Larne man Neil said: “We all know the history of this ground and for me to be part of the last group of players to set foot on it is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

“We were taken behind the scenes and to run out of the tunnel was an unbelievable experience.

“I am sure they will all remember this day for a very long time – they’re all now part of the history of this iconic stadium.”
