Superintendent Ryan Henderson said: “Officers searched three properties in Larne yesterday evening. No arrests were made but mobile phones were seized.

“We have been focussing on the activity of violent loyalists in recent times, specifically following a spate of beatings and shootings in the north Antrim and Coleraine areas.

“We are committed to keeping people safe and part of that is protecting communities from the lingering threat of paramilitaries.”
