Larne seminar explores power of the web

Larne Development Forum has hosted the third in its series of seminars for local businesses.

The subjects covered were: the power of social media to market your business; and the potential of increasing your business by selling online.

The speakers were two local business people; Linzi Conway (Key to Success Consultants) and Nicholas Dummigan (ND Online Retail Ltd).

Linzi is a CIM Chartered Marketer and holds a CAM Diploma in digital marketing.

She manages digital marketing, social media and online reputation for a wide range of businesses and is an Enterprise NI accredited business advisor.

Nicholas Dummigan is the founder of ND Online Retail ltd, an online marketplace trading andconsulting business based in Larne.

Nicholas has almost 10 years’ experience with marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon, having first started out as a hobby seller on eBay.

He has built a business from scratch to a full team managing multiple accounts on eBay, Amazon and various websites, shipping up to 1000 orders per day , to all corners of the world.

The next seminar takes place in January, and the topic will be: ‘Sources of finance to help grow businesses’. This will be taken by representatives of Invest NI and Enterprise NI.
