Kaleidoscope NI, a Larne-based charity which supports people living with autism and other learning and physical disabilities, teamed up with a group of local photographers in a bid to raise vital funds for their cause.

The snappers, known as Larne Through a Lens, are a Facebook group made up of Bill Guiller, Brian McCullough, Roy Hutchinson and Gavin Ferguson.

The local foursome aim to promote the town by capturing images of the stunning scenery, beautiful coast and rolling hills, and sharing it online for all to see.

And when Kaleidoscope’s chairperson, Mandi Ferguson approached the group and broached the idea of producing a fundraising calendar, they jumped at the chance to showcase some of their work.

Bill Guiller told the Times: “Hopefully the calendar will help raise the awareness of the group and the very important support and service they provide to some of the most vulnerable in our society.”

Mandi expressed her thanks to the photographers, as well as the local businesses who sponsored the calendar.

The calendar is available to purchase from a number of local businesses, and is priced a £6.

You can also buy one by phoning Mandi on 07513 839081, or contact Larne Through a Lens on Facebook.
