Laser shone at police helicopter
A PSNI helicopter pilot was potentially put in danger after a laser was shone at the aircraft in the Carrickvale Manor area of Lurgan.
The incident took place during the weekend of November 3 and 4 when a laser was shone repeatedly at the helicopter.
A youth was identified and has been reported to the PPS in respect of endangering an aircraft.
A PSNI spokesman said, “This activity endangers the lives of both officers and staff in the helicopter and also the public at ground level. It can also lead to a conviction and criminal record.”
