Last chance to have yoursay on local stations

THE public consultation on the future of Hillsborough and Dunmurry police stations closes at midnight on Sunday, March 11.

Area Commander Chief Inspector Darrin Jones encouraged people to get involved and give their views,

“We are now into the final two weeks of this consultation process and I would urge anyone with a view on the future of either station to have their say.

“This is an important opportunity for local people to feed into, and influence, how policing should be delivered their local area in the future.

“I would also like to reassure the communities in both Hillsborough and Dunmurry that whatever the outcome of this process, they can still expect the personal, professional and protective policing service that has always been provided by their local Neighbourhood and response teams to continue. These officers will remain dedicated to their respective areas and to the people who live there.”
