Latest: Body of man found on road near Coalisland
The body of a man has been found lying on a road near Coalisland in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police have said enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of death at this stage.
The body was found at Mountjoy Road at Killeen Village.
Inspector Neil Beck said, “The man’s body was found lying in the road at around 4am this morning. We are currently working to establish the circumstances surrounding the death and I would appeal to anyone who was travelling in the area in the early hours of this morning and who may have noticed anything which could assist us with our enquiries to contact police in Dungannon on 101.”
Mountjoy Road remains closed at the crossroads with Coole Road and Lisaclare Road.
