Latest: Charis Cancer Care win £50K jackpot after public vote
Celebrations are underway after Mid-Ulster based charity Charis Cancer Care won the £50,000 jackpot in a phone vote competition.
The charity which had been shortlisted in the People’s Millions TV Contest, received backing from across Northern Ireland in the weeks and days leading up to Monday’s vote.
The Charis Cancer Centre ‘New Ways of Thinking’ initiative went head to head with ‘Build a Beach’ Project which is linked to the Titanic Foundation.
