Latest: Gardening equipment stolen from Aghadowey premises

Police in Coleraine are appealing for information following the theft of gardening equipment from premises in the Agivey Road, Aghadowey.

Commenting on the incident, Constable Adrian Gillan said: “Some time between the evening of Monday, September 22 and 10.30am on Tuesday, September 23, a garage at the rear of a sports club and licenses premises was entered and a quantity of gardening equipment stolen.

“These items included a Husqvarna Ride on mower, Serial No 20134300013; a push Rover mower; a Kawasaki brush cutter strimmer; a Husquarna strimmer; a leaf blower and a weed sprayer.

“I would ask anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area or who has any information to contact Police at Coleraine on the non emergency number 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
