Latest: One person killed in Dungannon crash involving lorry and a car
One person has died and another has been seriously injured after a crash in Dungannon on Monday afternoon.
The accident involved a lorry and a car on the M1 motorway near Dungannon.
It happened on the eastbound carriageway at around 5.10pm.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “The motorway is expected to remain closed in both directions for some time whilst police enquiries are carried out.”
Inspector Andrew Archibald has appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police in Dungannon on 101.
