LATEST: Police officers injured after stolen car crashes in Maghera
A 25-year-old man has been charged with a number of motoring offences following a collision involving police vehicles and a suspected stolen car near Maghera.
The accused, who is from Londonderry, faces 10 charges, including aggravated vehicle taking, burglary, dangerous driving and driving while unfit through alcohol or drugs and other motoring offences.
He appeared at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court earlier today
The charges follow incident that began at Racecourse Road in Londonderry just before midnight on Thursday and culminated in the arrest of a man at Fallaghloon Road, Maghera about 40 minutes later.
