Ulster Unionist Assembly Member for Mid-Ulster, Sandra Overend, condemned those who left the suspect device and calls on those who are intent on disrupting the lives of the innocent to grow up and instead of using terrorism, should translate their efforts into words and debate.

Sandra said, “Having just heard that a suspect device was found outside Ballymacombs Orange Hall, outside the village of Bellaghy, I just cannot comprehend what goes through the heads of these deluded terrorists. “I totally condemn those responsible, and call on those intent on using terrorism to grow up and instead translate their efforts into words and debate.

“I would also like to commend the actions of the PSNI and the Army who have closed off the area and are dealing with the suspected device.”
