Laugh with 'Our Jimmy'

IT'S 36 years since legendary Ulster comic James Young died, but his material and characters are still packing audiences into theatres around Northern Ireland through the hugely-popular 'Our Jimmy' shows created by comedian William Caulfield (pictured).

The latest version of William Caulfield’s tribute tours Northern Ireland over the next few months, starting at Belfast’s Grand Opera House this week.

‘Our Jimmy’ is packed with the sketches, songs and monologues which made James Young one of Northern Ireland’s best-loved entertainers. Audiences province-wide will have the chance to see the latest incarnation of this show and enjoy the familiar characters James Young created, including Lily O’Condriac, wee Sammy the Schoolboy, Derek the window cleaner, the Factory Girl, the ever-drunk Willie Simpson, Emily Beattie, Orange Lily, Billy Hulk and Aunt Sarah!

You can see ‘Our Jimmy’ at locations across Northern Ireland, including the Grand Opera House in Belfast, between now and the end of March. For more information visit www.goh.co.uk
