Leading ladies choir to visit Coleraine

PORTADOWN Ladies Choir, under their Musical Director, Gordon Speers, will perform a concert in Terrace Row Presbyterian Church Hall on Saturday, March 3 at 8pm.

The choir celebrated their Diamond Anniversary last year having started in 1951. Their first concert was held in the Town Hall Portadown on February 28, 1952.

Since then they have performed many concerts and Sacred Recitals as well as competing in festivals and competitions all over the Province and the Republic of Ireland, winning many prestigious awards.

The concert is being sponsored by a number of local businesses. Proceeds will go to the Missionary Committee for overseas projects.

Tickets costing £6 can be purchased from any committee member or you can pay at the door. Everyone will be most welcome. Contact John at 02870356874 for further information.
