Leading US theologian to speak at Larne mission

THE President of Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Michigan, USA - Dr Joel Beeke - is due to be one of the speakers at a mission being held by Larne Reformed Presbyterian Church.

A prolific writer and internationally known, Dr Beeke is scheduled to preach at the Curran Road-based church on Monday, February 15 at 8pm.

The Reformed Presbyterian congregation is holding an evangelistic mission from February 14 to February 21 based on the theme, Christ and the Book of Revelation.

As part of the mission, a special meeting on the topic of creation has been arranged for young people on Saturday, February 20 at 8pm, with Pastor Trevor Kirkland as speaker.

Among the other expected preachers during the week long series of meetings is Rev Derek Petrie who was recently installed as the minister of Larne Reformed Presbyterian Church.

“This mission is for everyone in Larne and visitors will be made very welcome,” said Rev.Petrie.
