Learn how to make the WEB work

Local businesses can learn how to make the World Wide Web work for them at the second free breakfast business workshop organised by Mid Ulster District Council.

The breakfast workshop entitled ‘Making the WEB Work for Your Business’, takes place on Tuesday, March 7 at The Terrace Hotel, Magherafelt from 8am – 10.30am and is suitable for all businesses from all sectors located in the Mid Ulster area.

The key focus of the event will be how to covert traffic from your website into real sales for your business.

The event will commence with breakfast and registration at 8am followed by a workshop facilitated by Daryl Conway from We Are Digital.

Topics covered at the event will include: Pay per Click, Search Engine Optimisation, and what makes a website work.

Three Leading European Web Experts – Daithi Conlon (Managing Director, Website NI), Barry Adams (Founder of Polemic Digital) and Mark Haslam (Managing Director of Loud Mouth Media Ltd) will be in attendance and will deliver practical workshops.

The Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Trevor Wilson is delighted the Council is providing these valuable sessions for local businesses.

He said: “This is the second event the Council has organised to help local businesses reach their full potential in a largely digital age.

“This information and advice is essential for businesses, particularly in a time where so much is done digitally, online and on-the-go! I would urge all local businesses interested to apply now as spaces are limited.”

The event is the second in a series of breakfast business events organised by the Council to offer valuable digital information to businesses.

The next and final event will take place on Tuesday, March 28 in Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre, Dungannon.
