The course has been designed with the practical needs of the carer in mind. Each session will run in an informal, relaxed atmosphere and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and talk with other carers over a cup of tea.

The sessions are free and open to the general public who are interested in finding out more about the different types of dementia, progression of the illness, benefit entitlement, nutrition and learn tactics in dealing with behaviours which we find challenging. On each night an external speaker will be present to present their information.

For information about the carer information programme or caring for someone with dementia, contact Helen Taylor, Dementia Support Worker on 7035 8887.
