Learning to balance busy lifestyle with healthy diet

MAINTAINING a healthy and balanced diet around the commitments of family and work was the topic for week five of LEDCOM’s personal development programme.

The initiative, promoted by the Antiville Women’s Support Group, is being delivered to local women from the Antiville and Craigyhill area.

Chrissie Cahill from Community Foundation for Northern Ireland (CFNI) said she was delighted that LEDCOM, Chain HR, the Prom Café and ASDA had all worked together to provide an informative and practical session as part of the overall programme.

“The women had a fantastic evening of sampling local cuisine and preparing menu plans to allow quick, easy and healthy meals on a budget, to fit into a busy lifestyle,” she added.

The scheme is funded by the IFI Communities in Transition programme through CFNI. For further information on the personal development programme, contact Audrey Murray at LEDCOM on 028 28269973.
