Leg it for Foyle Hospice this Easter

FOLLOWING the success of the Sport Relief campaign all around the UK, local people now have the chance to put their bodies to the test in the name of a good cause. A five kilometre fun run will be held at the Gransha Grounds on Easter Saturday in aid of the Foyle Hospice. A one kilometre race for Under 13s will also be on.

The fun run has been organized by Paula McGilloway of City of Derry AC. The adults five kilometre race is on at 11.00am and the Under 13s race is 10.30am, April 3rd.

The entry fee is five pounds for the grown-ups and two pounds for the kids.

The Under 13s will get a medal for taking part and a free drink. All proceeds will go to the Foyle Hospice.

Hopefully there will be a great turnout and people of all shapes and sizes are welcome.

Whether you fancy your chances as the next Usain Bolt or you struggle to make it off the sofa, this is a great chance to see what you can do.

Why not test yourself on the Gransha Grounds in the aid of a good cause?
