Legacurry
MRS Irene McKeown president welcomed everyone to their meeting of Legacurry WI. A special welcome was given to the speaker Mrs Dorothy Andrews. Dorothy told how she started a hobby of crafts and is now winning prizes for her work.
She had a display set out for all to see from embroidery to patchwork quilts, softs toys and little booklets, trinket boxes and a little framed picture of embroidery that looked like dried flowers.
Members were handed little bags with all the pieces to make their own trinket boxes with Dorothy’s help and patience. They were then allowed to take the boxes home.
