Lenten Trocaire campaign begins
Trocaire boxes have been delivered the length and breadth of County Antrim this week in preparation for the annual Lenten campaign to raise funds for some of the poorest people in the world.
Trocaire has announced that the UK government will again match donations to the Trocaire Lenten campaign which could result in millions of pounds of extra funding. The ‘UK Aid Match’ initiative will see the Department for International Development double donations from the public in Northern Ireland during the campaign this year.
