Let the police keep an eye on your home
If you are planning on going on holidays over the summer months, let the local police know and they will keep an special eye on your house while you are away.
Police in Lisburn are inviting local people to contact them and let them know that the property will be empty,
A spokesperson for the police said: “While you’re off enjoying the sun, chances are your house will be sitting empty. Give us a call on 101 with your address, the dates you’ll be away and the details of anyone who would have a set of keys. That way we can keep an extra eye on your home while you’re away and we know who to contact if anything untoward happens.”
