The 402 rambler service, operated with support from the Rural Transport Fund, runs every day throughout the Summer and enables visitors to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the North Coast.

Speaking about the service, Translink Rural Transport Development Coordinator Katy Lamont said: “Summer offers a great opportunity to explore the North Coast area.

“With many people planning fun days out, we want to make travel by public transport as convenient and hassle-free as possible.

“Our Causeway Rambler service offers reliable and comfortable bus travel for both local people and visitors to the area, whether they want to enjoy the stunning landscape or visit the great attractions that can be found in the Causeway area.

“ If you planning to attend The Irish Open in Portrush from 28 June to 1 July, why not also take a trip on the Causeway Rambler and see what’s on offer.

“Whether it’s venturing across Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, sampling the delights of Bushmills Distillery, strolling along Whitepark Bay or enjoying an ice-cream in Portrush, the North Coast is the perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast.

“By leaving the car behind passengers can sit back, relax and take in the surroundings.

“The service is also a cost-effective way to travel with a range of special tickets available.”

An All Day Hopper Ticket is available at £5.90 per adult or £2.95 per child.

A special Translink Family and Friends Ticket is also available on Saturdays and Sundays as well as the main school summer break.

It offers unlimited bus and rail travel for up to two adults and four children for just £20. Causeway Rambler tickets can also be used on the North Coast Open Topper Service 177.

iLink Zone 4 offers unlimited bus and rail travel throughout all areas of the Causeway Coast.
