At a recent charity handover Liam announced that he had collected just over £10,000, yet another record.

Liam was joined this year by the Rotary Club of Ballymoney who were promoting their Tree of Remembrance project . This was an opportunity for people to remember loved ones who were unable to join them at Christmas. Members of the public were able to write a message on a yellow ribbon which was hoisted on the Christmas Tree outside the Town Hall.

Richard Orr, President of Ballymoney Rotary stated “ It was an honour and privilege to sit out with Lilam for a short time over the Christmas period, support his fundraising and at the same time remember loved ones who are no longer with us over Christmas. However its really the people both from Ballymoney and many other parts of Northern Ireland that we need to thank. They are so generous not just with their donations but with their encouragement and kind words for Liam and his good causes.”

Black Santa Liam Beckett said “There are so many individuals and organisations to thank but the sit out would not have been possible without the support from the Council, PSNI, Traffic Wardens, local business like Ground who supplied him with coffee and Morellis with ice cream to name a few.
