Library launches reading challenge

Libraries NI invites children aged 4 and above to take part in the 2015 Summer Reading Challenge from 1 July - 31 August.

Organised by The Reading Agency, the theme of this Challenge is Record Breakers and libraries across Northern Ireland are getting ready to encourage young readers to explore some of the astonishing real-life achievements and world records as featured in the Guinness World RecordsTM Books.

Sign up at your local library then read any number of books of your choice, collecting stickers and activity sheets and other rewards along the way. Young readers will discover wonderful and wacky records from around the world in six different categories: Cool Tech, Way to Go!, The Big Stuff, Animal Magic, People Power and Action! Adventure!
