The campaign, which launched in June this year, received over 2000 nominations for community groups and projects from right across the province which were deserving of a visit from the Lidl community crew.

The judging panel comprised of well-known faces, including international rugby player Rory Best, Spirit of NI winner Carol Doey, broadcaster Pamela Ballantine, chef and Lidl ambassador Ian Orr and TV presenter and model Zoe Salmon, who were responsible for selecting the final 32, including Crumlin Senior Citizens and Music Therapy Connections NI in Lisburn.
