Life 4 You back on air in just two weeks!

LIFE 4 you will be hitting the airwaves in just over two weeks!

Preparations are now at an advanced stage up at Ballymoney Baptist as they finalise all the necessary arrangements. Broadcasting begins at midnight on Thursday 29th of April with some Christian music, but the real programming begins on Friday 30th at 8.00am. Alastair Smith kicks off with his now infamous breakfast show. Alastair, as usual, will start each day with some surprises, some news, some music and a few thoughts for the day ahead.

Over the weekend there will be around 48 hours of live broadcasting and then from midnight to eight in the morning an opportunity to listen to some repeats from previous years.

Although Haiti has been in the news lately many people have forgotten about it already. Phil Dunn will be reminding us of the terrible disaster that struck the small island and talking to some people with personal experiences and eyewitness accounts of what really happened.

Cheers Youth Centre in Church Street and The Link House in Meetinghouse Street, as well as some of the Night Light team are coming in to share something of their work in the town.

Throughout the weekend the big issues are not avoided. There will be programmes about stress, about depression, about death and a personal story of living with autism.

On Sunday afternoon you can spend an hour with The Gaithers and another hour hearing Joanne Wallace talking to Karen Kingsbury, the well known Christian author of many inspirational novels.
