Life has its days of sunshine

'In due season we shall reap, if we faint not.' Gal 6-9

Amidst the things that hurt and mar us

We know the heart will sing again,

Undeterred by life’s misfortunes

Disappointments, woe and pain.

So why should we grow discouraged?

By the sullen winds that blow,

Though today the sky is frowning

We draw comfort just to know.

There’s strength for each load we carry

Won’t you let the Shepherd lead?

The one who notes the sparrow’s fall

Anticipates your every need.

Life has its days of sunshine

With rays of joy and tears

But some glad day we’ll gather in

The harvest of the years.
