Though days are filled with shadowy uncertainty
Resolve that discouragement will find no room
It’s the thought that manifests the word
Seek for a touch of beauty in the gloom.
‘Tis the gift of friendship lights the way
Seek to help someone along life’s tract
Remember that all the uphill goings
Will be downhills coming back.
Gratitude, love and a few kinds words
May be the making of someone’s day
The things we anticipate and plan
Are mirrored in what we say.
Life is a reflection of what you believe
The good Shepherd still knocks at the door
Willing to uphold you on every journey
