Life-saving doctor given £5k cheque
An Ardboe family that raised over £5,000 for the health surgery that saved their US-based brother's life, handed over the money last Wednesday.
The Currans held a fundraising event at Ardboe Hall to thank Dr Miller for bringing Thomas back to life after a heart attack. The funds will buy defibs.
Thomas, known fondly as TC, lives in the States and came over specially to make the presentation.
