A Public Access Defibrillator has been installed at The Square in Ballyclare.

It is located between Russell’s Food and Drink and Danske Bank.

In an emergency dial 999 and the Ambulance Service will provide the code for the cabinet.

Ballyclare Colts Football Club wish to thank everyone who supported their campaign.

A club spokesperson said: “This is basically the team giving back to the local community, but our next stage is to train local people in the use of the same device. The defibrillator talks you through it, but if we can get local residents including taxi drivers and bar staff trained, it will benefit our wee town.”
