Lifeskills course helps young people make healthy choices

The Barnardo’s LifeSkills participants were presented with their level 2 certificates at a recognition event at Belfast City Hall.

Liz McClure, Barnardo’s NI assistant director, said: “We know the pressures children and young people can face and we also know that by having the confidence to make healthy choices for themselves they give themselves a better chance at reaching their potential.

“It is important that children have these skills before they face the pressures, which is why we are delivering the LifeSkills programme in primary schools and youth groups.”
