IN recent discussion of the council's Christmas lights switch-on events, councillors were advised the 2010 events would be organised by the local authority as it did last year, while a grant would be awarded for anything additional, a Santa's Grotto for instance.
Dromore Councillor Carol Black cheered the news, noting that Kinallen Community Association, for one, would welcome money to host their own celebration.
