Power was restored to 6,516 homes in Larne on Tuesday afternoon after just nine minutes.
A spokesperson for Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) said: “Lightning affected an electricity substation in Larne on Tuesday, June 9. NIE emergency repair teams responded immediately and restored power to the 6,519 affected properties within nine minutes.”
