Limavady Orange OrderCovenant Day

LIMAVADY District LOL No.6 announces plans for the Centenary of the Ulster Covenant Parade in Belfast on Saturday, September 29, 2012.

The members of Limavady District LOL will be travelling to Belfast on Saturday, September 29, 2012 to join with the tens of Thousands of Orangemen and women from all over Northern Ireland and the Border Counties to mark the Centenary of the Signing of the Ulster Covenant in the grounds of the Stormont Estate.

Limavady District will be accompanied on parade by a number of bands from the District namely Ballyquin Sons of Ulster Flute Band, Dungiven Crown Defenders Flute Band and a massed band of members of Trench Memorial and Boveva Flute Bands.

Members of public are cordially invited to attend this historic occasion as the district have booked a number of buses to travel to the parade, the buses will depart from the Mill Place Car Park (Limavady Bus Station) at 8am sharp and will proceed to Sandy Row in Belfast where the District Brethren and Bands will de bus, members of the public will then be transported on to the Grounds of Stormont where they can take up their vantage point to witness this historic parade. The fare for the day will be £10.
